At WAIA (Wise Academy of Innovation and Athletics), we empower student-athletes through a unique blend of homeschool support, academic structure, and athletic development.

WAIA was founded by Coach Andre Wise, a visionary educator and sports advocate with over 25 years of dedicated experience working with young men and women. Coach Wise, also the founder of Our Vision Sports Company, has spent decades identifying and addressing the unique academic and athletic needs of student-athletes. His career has been fueled by a passion for guiding students to bridge their academic and athletic lives seamlessly, equipping them with not only the skills to succeed in their sports but also the academic and vocational tools essential for life beyond high school.

WAIA provides an innovative, balanced approach to education that combines academic rigor with individualized athletic development. By integrating top-tier academics with specialized athletic training, WAIA ensures each student can pursue their unique strengths and aspirations.

We are currently operating as a homeschool support program, not a private school of record. This means:

• Parents remain the legal instructors of record under Georgia homeschool law.

• Families file the Declaration of Intent (DOI) with the Georgia Department of Education.

• WAIA supports academic progress by offering access to NCAA-approved BYU Independent Study courses, curriculum planning, transcript formatting, and post-secondary prep.

We also guide homeschool student-athletes through Georgia’s GHSA eligibility process, ensuring compliance with SB 42 so they can participate in sports at their local public high schools.

With WAIA, students gain the support they need to excel academically and athletically, fostering excellence for college and beyond.

Looking Ahead

In the 2027–2028 academic year, WAIA plans to offer a full private school diploma track, allowing families the choice to remain on the homeschool path or formally enroll in our accredited private school program.
